THE NEVADA COUNTY FAIR
THE FAIR EVENTS
Carnival & Fun Stuff
The carnival runs each day and night throughout the fair. The rides are mild to wild.
One price carnival tickets can be purchased for a low price which allows unlimited
carnival rides on Thursday and Friday from 10:00am to 5:00pm.
Other events for the kids, and everyone else, are: Laser tag,
Rabbit & Poultry
Costume Contest, Daily Gold Panning Competition, Gold Pan Scavenger
Hunt, Wild Animal Safari,
Squashmobile Races, Petting Zoo, and Hay Bucking.
The Pioneer Family Wagon Train has some great demonstations like;
candle
making, rope making, Dutch oven cooking, pioneer skills, blacksmith
and forge.
There are other special events going on daily that include: Super
Shaving Cream Squirt,
Cottonball Fun, Chubby Bunny, Whipped Lifesavers, Marshmallow Castle
Building,
Teeth Freeze, Egg Toss, Candy Race, Cracker Whistle,
Karaoke, Water Balloon Fun,
and other fun suprises.
